And he stopped in the town I was living in, Nashville, Tennessee, and everyone was pretty impressed with him and invited him to all the parties, and all the girls had crushes on him ‘cause he had a funny accent. And then we started thinking he might be an ax killer or something, but we didn’t know. And he said, ‘Well I’m going to be leaving tonight, I’ve got a plane to catch tomorrow, so, um … why don’t you throw me a party?’ so we threw him a party, but then, he’s like, next day, he comes rockin’ up, he’s like, ‘I seemed to have missed my plane, can we have another party?’ So this happened a few times and then we were over it, so this song is for Steven who wouldn’t leave, it’s his last night in town.”
